Own Your Life™

Your circumstances are part of your story. They don’t get to own it.

I’m Connie Rose—an Own Your Life™ Coach, teacher, fifth-generation musician, and creator of Frequency of Me™ and SoulSong™.

My work is about helping people understand who they are, align with how they’re uniquely designed, embody the identity they’re becoming, express their genius, and intentionally create a life that feels like their own.

Not because life always goes according to plan.

Mine certainly didn’t.

But I’ve learned that owning your life isn’t about controlling everything that happens to you.

It’s about knowing who you are and choosing who you’ll be in relationship to what happens.

That’s the work I live.

And it’s the work I help others live, too.

Connie Rose
I didn’t get the story I would have written.

But I refused to stop writing.

In 2020, my 18-year-old son, Nicholas, had a massive heart attack and was suddenly gone.

There isn’t a sentence that can adequately describe what happens when you lose your child.

My body shut down, too.

I ended up in a wheelchair, navigating profound grief, physical pain, and a life I no longer recognized as mine.

Five months after Nicholas went to heaven, I was in a very dark place. I didn’t want to be here. At the same time, I had two sick parents who needed me.

Then my friend Julie called.

She knew I’d been interested in energy and frequency work for years—I had practiced Reiki since my twenties—and she told me about a new frequency-wellness technology called AO Scan that was looking for beta testers.

I didn’t have a grand plan.

I was desperate enough to try something different, and I trusted my friend.

So I handed her my credit card and said:

“Sign me up.”

That decision became part of a much bigger journey.

I wasn’t trying to build a brand. I was trying to find my way back to myself.

Frequency wellness became one of the tools I incorporated into the way I cared for myself and navigated what came next.

Over time, my physical experience changed. I moved from a wheelchair to a walker, then a cane, and eventually I began walking again.

My doctors have continued to discuss disability with me. I continue to navigate my health and pain while making intentional choices about how I support my well-being, including the frequency tools that have become part of my daily life.

But the biggest transformation wasn’t simply physical.

I began finding myself again.

And then I realized I wasn’t actually going back to the woman I’d been.

I was becoming someone new.

And the losses didn’t stop.

Eventually, I had to answer a different question: Who am I now?

In the years that followed Nicholas’s death, my mom—my best friend—went to heaven.

Fifteen weeks later, my dad followed.

There was divorce. The loss of a business. Betrayal by someone I considered a best friend. The death of a mentor. An engagement followed by another painful ending.

It felt as though life kept removing the roles and relationships I’d used to answer the question:

Who am I?

I had been a mom, first and foremost.

A daughter.

A wife.

A partner.

A business owner.

And when so many of those identities changed or disappeared, I had a choice.

I could spend the rest of my life defining myself by what I’d lost.

Or I could become intentional about who I was going to be with the life that remained.

I didn’t get the story I would have written.
But I refused to stop writing.

So I became intentional about every page that remained.

I discovered who I truly am.

I aligned with how God designed me.

I sealed the places where my energy was escaping.

I curated a life that reflects what I value most.

And now...

I receive what matches who I’ve become.

This is what “Own Your Life” means to me.

Owning your life doesn’t mean controlling life.

Life will happen.

People will leave. Plans will change. Bodies will change. Relationships will change. Businesses will change. Dreams will evolve.

There are circumstances we choose.

And there are circumstances we never would have chosen.

Owning your life means those circumstances don’t get the final word about who you are.

Your circumstances can be part of your life without becoming the owner of your life.

You still get to choose what you value.

Where your energy goes.

What you create.

How you express yourself.

Who you surround yourself with.

What you believe.

Who you’re becoming.

And what you do with the pages that remain.

That’s why Own Your Life™ has been at the center of my work since 2015.

It began as my desire to have more freedom—to do what I wanted, when I wanted, and have a say in the way my life was designed.

Today, it means something much deeper.

Know yourself.
Trust yourself.
Express your genius.
Choose from clarity.
Own your life.

Joy · Genius · Rejuvenation

I believe your time should reflect what you say matters.

I’ve become very intentional about where my life goes.

For me, owning your life includes investing your time in three places:

Joy

The people, experiences, creativity, laughter, beauty, play, and simple things that make you feel genuinely alive.

Not someday.

Now.

Genius

The gifts that are uniquely yours.

The work, ideas, creativity, leadership, teaching, service, and self-expression that seem to come through you differently than they come through anyone else.

I believe we’re here to express that genius—not hide it.

Rejuvenation

The space that allows you to have energy for both.

Rest. Reflection. Spiritual practice. Your environment. Music. Nature. Quiet. Whatever genuinely restores you.

Rejuvenation isn’t time taken away from your life.

It’s part of how you become available for it.

This is how I try to live.

A life with room for my joy.

A life that expresses my genius.

And enough rejuvenation to keep showing up for both.

My work starts with identity.

Because transformation begins with who you believe yourself to be.

I’ve spent decades teaching, coaching, creating, studying human behavior, and helping people see possibilities in themselves.

But one idea keeps bringing all of my work back together:

Identity matters.

We can collect information about ourselves forever.

We can learn another strategy.

Set another goal.

Take another course.

Understand another pattern.

But eventually, we have to live what we know.

That’s why my work has evolved beyond personal development alone and into identity, embodiment, self-expression, Divine Design, and frequency.

I don’t want to help you become a better copy of somebody else.

I want to help you discover what’s already true about you—and become courageous enough to live it.

You are Divinely Designed.

There are no accidents in who you are.

One of the most transformative things I’ve done is learn to see myself differently.

Not as a collection of things that needed fixing.

But as a person with a design.

My work with Divine Design brings together insights from Human Design, Astrology, Gene Keys, Tikkun, Archetypes, and the patterns revealed through a person’s lived experience.

Not to put you in another box.

To give you language for what has been there all along.

Your natural gifts.

How you communicate.

How you make decisions.

What gives you energy.

What drains it.

The patterns you repeat.

The genius you may have dismissed because it comes so naturally to you.

For me, understanding my own Divine Design helped me stop trying to become who I thought I was supposed to be.

And start trusting who I already was.

Frequency of Me™

What if the frequency you’ve been looking for is your own?

That question sits underneath so much of my work today.

Frequency of Me™ grew from my belief that self-understanding is only the doorway.

The deeper work is learning to trust, embody, and express who you are.

It’s where Divine Design, identity, self-expression, business, personalized coaching, embodiment, and frequency come together.

Because I don’t believe you need another formula for becoming someone else.

I believe you need to become more fully you.

And when that happens, your decisions change.

Your relationships change.

Your business changes.

The way you communicate changes.

The way you show up changes.

You stop asking quite so many people for permission to live your own life.

You begin becoming the frequency of you.

Before frequency, there was music.

Music has always been how I express what words can’t hold.

I’m a fifth-generation musician.

I started playing piano when I was five years old.

By thirteen, I was teaching piano and performing publicly.

For 25 years, I taught private piano and voice while performing, singing, playing, composing, and helping my own students discover the joy of creating music.

Churches. Weddings. Funerals. Performances.

Music was woven through my life.

And composing often felt less like something I manufactured and more like something God gave me to translate.

Then Nicholas died.

And I couldn’t sing.

The voice that had been part of me for almost my entire life simply wasn’t available to me in the same way anymore.

Years later, while my mom was in hospice, something began to change.

My mom had the voice of an angel.

And somehow, as I was preparing to say goodbye to her, my own voice began finding its way back.

Over time, I started singing again.

Somewhere along the way, music became mine again.

This photo was taken at my dad’s funeral. I’m sitting at the piano, singing.

There was a time after Nicholas died when I couldn’t sing at all.

So this photograph means more to me than simply performing.

It’s evidence that my voice came back. Then I began using it to help other people hear theirs.

Not because the grief disappeared.

Because I learned that grief and self-expression could exist in the same life.

And eventually, I started composing again too.

But the music that returned wasn’t the same.

Neither was I.

SoulSong™

My voice came back. Then I began using it to help other people hear theirs.

SoulSong™ wasn’t born because I decided I needed another product.

It emerged from the intersection of everything I’d lived and everything I’d spent my life learning:

Music.
Identity.
Divine Design.
Frequency.
Story.
Self-expression.
Embodiment.

I listen for the patterns underneath the patterns—the truths someone already knows but doesn’t always trust, the experiences that shaped them, the gifts they’re here to express, and the person they’re becoming.

And I turn it into music.

Your Divine Design, set to music.

Because words can explain something to you.

Music can help you remember it.

Teacher. Coach. Musician. Student of human potential.

The titles have changed. The thread hasn’t.

I’ve been teaching since I was thirteen years old.

I hold a Master’s in Education and later became an NLP Master Coach and Trainer and a certified Positive Intelligence coach. I’ve coached, trained, spoken, taught business, worked with transformational communities, and spent decades studying how people learn, change, communicate, create, and become.

Those credentials matter.

But they’re not the most important thing I bring to my work.

I’ve lived it.

I’ve had to question my own identity.

I’ve had to rebuild.

I’ve had to make decisions when there wasn’t a good option.

I’ve had to learn where my energy was going.

I’ve had to grieve lives and identities that no longer existed.

I’ve had to find my voice again.

And I’ve had to consciously decide:

What am I going to do with the life I still have?

That’s the question underneath my work today.

There’s also a lot more to me than my work.

Around here, we call her Teenage Connie.

I’m deeply spiritual. My relationship with God is foundational to my life, and I’m fascinated by the places where spirituality, identity, energy, ancient wisdom, and our lived human experience meet.

I’ve studied Kabbalah and other systems of self-understanding because I’m endlessly curious about who we are and why we’re here.

My home is my sanctuary.

I love my brother and niece fiercely.

I adore my two cats.

I love music in just about every form.

I prioritize my friendships and the people I love.

I’m intentional.

I’m positive.

I’m playful.

And apparently there are two Connies.

There’s Coach Connie—the teacher, guide, strategist, question-asker, truth-teller.

And then there’s Teenage Connie—the one who wants to play, laugh, turn up the music, have fun, and thoroughly enjoy being alive.

I’ve worked very hard to make room for both of them.

Because that’s part of owning my life too.

What I know for sure

You can love your life without loving everything that’s happened in it.

I love my life.

That doesn’t mean I love every chapter.

I wouldn’t have written many of them.

But I’m here.

And I am profoundly grateful for the woman I’ve become.

I believe you can experience grief and still make room for joy.

You can honor who you’ve been without being imprisoned by an old identity.

You can intentionally create your life without pretending you control every circumstance.

You can know yourself more deeply.

Trust yourself more completely.

Express yourself more freely.

Use your gifts.

Choose what matters.

And become more intentional about the pages you’re still writing.

I didn’t get the story I would have written.
But I refused to stop writing.

And neither do you have to.

This is the Frequency of Me.

I get paid to be me.

And I help my clients get paid to be them, too.

Not by turning themselves into a personal brand.

Not by performing a version of themselves they think the world will buy.

But by knowing themselves so deeply that their gifts, voice, decisions, work, relationships, business, and life begin to come from the same place.

Who they actually are.

That’s self-expression.

That’s freedom.

That’s embodiment.

And to me...

That’s what it means to Own Your Life.
